What a year! 2021 had many ups and downs; many experiences that left us shouting hooray and others that left us scratching our heads. 

Despite everything going on in the world, there is one fact that remains the same. It's all in the past. 2022 is right around the corner, and it's another blank slate to create whatever you want out of your career and life.

There are so many things that stand out to me from this year that have left me excited. Maybe some things that have left me trepidatious, some things that have left me scratching my head. ...listening to this, you made it to. And here we are on the cusp of a brand new Year, a blank slate, a new canvas to paint whatever picture we would like to paint. And that thought always excites me. I got to admit I've not really been a new year resolution kind of guy because I feel like I'm just always actively working on something like I don't, I don't take this opportunity to be like, oh, it's the end of the year, what do I want to achieve in the new year because I've already got things that are going to materialize in the new year in the works already, if that makes sense. But I do like the idea of having a reset and, and moving into a blank slate. Being able to kick things up a notch recently, my team sent out a survey to you, my beloved CPB gang and I am so thrilled that many of you took time out of your day to provide...

...feedback to us about how we can improve the show, and what kind of information you'd like to learn more about and and what sorts of things you believe would make the show even better. I was very heartwarming also to find out that many of you have been here since day one, so you know, and you can believe, even though I'm finding it hard to believe, especially with how quickly time moves that we are going into our ninth year, nine years of the show. And it is so crazy to me that many of you have been here since day one showing your support, subscribing, liking, downloading, engaging. And so as we move into this New Year, first and foremost, I have to tell you, I'm so excited for where the show is going to go in the coming year with more tangible takeaways, more immediately applicable information, more practical information.

But secondly, and probably more importantly I want to, I cannot leave 2,021 behind without saying to you the individual listening right now, in the best words I can find to articulate how I feel, thank you, thank you. Thank you for edifying me, thank you for being here with me, thank you for blessing my life in more ways than I can think of off the top of my head right now producing this show has been an incredible journey and an incredible blessing and it's all because of you and it's all because of this industry. The retail automotive industry is one of the greatest industries on planet earth. Sure, it gets a bad rap, but I'm gonna tell you something right now, I have met many of you and you are the best people I've ever met in my entire...

...life. And so for that, the best words I can find to articulate how I feel from the bottom of my heart and on behalf of my family and my team at flex dealer dot com, thank you. You are amazing. You are incredible. I hope I hope and I pray That no matter what type of year you had in 2021, that 2022 is bigger bolder, but I also hope that it's also a year of gratitude and positive mindset and hope and joy and fulfillment for you. I hope that your wildest dreams come true in 2022 and of course beyond this is the time in this industry for us to focus truly on what matters most, there is amazing rapid transformation happening and it is incredibly exciting to be on that journey and on that adventure with you. But from the bottom...

...of my heart leaving 2,021 and moving into the new year, may you have the happiest of new years? I believe that you have everything you need to succeed and to achieve your definition of success. And perhaps one of the simplest clues for what I believe should be. All of our definitions of success lies in that salutation that each of us have been saying at this time of year for our entire lives. Happy New Year.
